Residencia Santa Clara

Residencia Santa Clara is not your typical casa. Although you will find the same warmth that most Cuban hosts offer, the building, the service, the experience is of different level. Residencia Santa Clara has been featured in FAC (Fabrica de Arte Cubano) as an exceptional example of modern architecture within the constraints of Old Havana whilst using recycled local materials: taps and showers made of galvanised steel tubes, recycled wood doors, furniture made of discarded old trees and more. Due to is fantastic location, facilities and services, Residencia Santa Clara is a truly unique proposal.

Residencia Santa Clara has 4 types of rooms: Standard, Standard Plus, Superior and Superior Plus. The main difference between the types is the size and the fact that Superior Plus have private balconies. Shower rooms on Standard rooms are considerably smaller as well.

There are 7 rooms in total.

- Standard Room

The Standard room is our quirkiest, smallest and cheapest room, and it is still a treat. Located on the ground floor, it can be connected with Room 6 (Standard Plus).

We particularly like the feature of the moving "curtain" that can block the window - for privacy - whilst still allowing natural light and air. This "curtain" can also move in the other direction and give you privacy in the shower without the need to close the doors it is a very small shower!

The room can only be arranged as a Double bed (2m x 1.5m).

- Standard Plus Room

We have two Standard Plus Rooms: Room 6 is on the ground floor (can interconnect with Standard room) and Room 5 is located on the first floor. They both are 13 sqm (excluding bathrooms), and a have minimalistic yet functional décor. Please note that there while there are windows, they are small and do not allow to view outside.

The rooms can be arranged to have either a Super King-size bed ( 2m x 2m) or two singles ensuite bathroom. Below

- Superior Room

We have two Superior rooms; both can be set up as either a Super King (2m x 2m) or two singles (2m x 1m). With 15 sqm (excluding bathrooms), Superior rooms are roomy and airy: they have a small balcony that opens into the inner patio. The exquisite wall decorations are a nice touch that does not overwhelm but complement the simple style.

Room 2 is located on the third floor (top) and Room 4 is located on the second floor.

- Superior Plus Room

We have two Superior Plus, both rooms are identical with the exception that Room 1 can only be set up as King-Size (2m x 1.5m), whilst Room 3 can either be a Super King (2m x 2m) or two singles (2m x 1m). They are both very spacious boasting 17 sqm (excluding bathrooms). The design is minimalistic, and it showcases unique decor themes that exude character and personality. Superior Plus rooms have their own private balconies towards the streets of Havana which does not affect sleep quality - Santa Clara street is a very quiet street with little to no traffic at all.}
